Former sTaRe contributor and early sTaRe Network participant, Mac Tonnies has passed away. Mac was found dead in his apartment on Thursday. He was a Fortean researcher that you could actually stand to be around. He will be missed.

one of my very first blogging pals from years ago at sTaRe and one of the most unique personalities on or off the planet. truly will be missed, indeed…
I was the “mutant” at post-atomic(dot)com and I use to blog over at Stare. I remember Mac, he was a brilliant dude. His book ‘After the Martian Apocalypse’ is still on my bookshelf. My condolences to his friends and family.
