I was heartbroken to read about your losses, ZeWizz! I'm especially saddened to learn about Laura!
Your other x passed away of an OD in March of 2007. Susan, yes Susan G of Braintree did several
kolonopins, etc,., Her methadone saturated system simply could not take it any longer. She always spoke very well of you, and your achievements with your musick. Susan is in the HANOVER Cemetery with a beautiful black headstone. She is overlooking the Stables which you may recall her love of horses! Danny Utenis, Tony, and Jaboa, all gone, finished! If you need specialty lighting, including theatrical call me. I do LED's now. It's been 6 years. It is rumored Danny took 30 Percocetts. Tony was found dead in a bathub naked with 25 kilos of opened cocaine! I guess it was full of Levamisole, which is not to kooool!
It's a pleasure to know your ok! Generally speaking!!!

P.S. Leave ZBC Alone! Their still paying for all the damage that interview caused!

@Novatron - My first, uninformed answer would be a guess that it is not a reference to Mr. Carrera. This is based on the fact that the incidents described happened in Europe and not in Cali or the US in general.

John is deep into mixing and post production on new releases, so I'm not going to bring it up to him. I suspect that only those immediately involved know the who, how and wherefore, and it's nobody's business beyond those few individuals.

Love,

333

It's my pleasure. It would be hard to overestimate SLEEPCHAMBER's influence on industrial, dark ambient and occult related musick.

If you want to hear more, you'll find a ton of rare and exclusive SC music, as well as a huge range of experimental, noise, apocalyptic folk and industrial at theebradmiller.blogspot.com.

Thanks for sharing that, Gary. I think just about any performer has memories of gigs like that. (One project of mine actualy got some good word of mouth going after one gig played for club staff and one homeless drunk.) the venue sounds like a perfect fit for SLEEP CHAMBER.

Of course all the SLEEP CHAMBER shows I attended were in Boston, my favorite was at Ground Zero with Requiem In White and Nisi Period (with Dez from BENTMEN sitting in on one song wearing a bunny costume, my introduction to the lunacy of Dez and BENTMEN).

I was at the San Jose show you see in the Leather & Lust tour flier. There was hardly anyone there. Maybe 20 people showed up, about half of whom actually knew who the band was. Admittedly, I was only familiar with John's early work, if at all, but I was a regular at the club, a huge, cavernous former porno theater, capacity of 400. All I remember is John asking the attendees if they had any requests, and then no one said anything. Then the guitar player said, "I guess we must be a new band in this town."

One girl continued to dance alone, up front, and John sang directly to her at moments. At a later date, I spotted scribbles on a wooden crossbeam backstage, which was upstairs. Something like, "John Zewizz was here, 2-23-1992" or something like that.

That club closed in 1995 and went through several other incarnations, but that scribble might still be there backstage. I will go look.
