It’s getting weirder out there everyday… Let’s start with the Faceless People.
According to Nick Burcher,

The Faceless People wear Lotus badges and the website www.facelesspeople.com is Lotus branded and collecting data before the forthcoming new Lotus launch. The Facelesspeople.com website allows users to register their email address so that they can be contacted when ‘True Character’ emerges in 18 days time.
Honestly, the coverage they’ve garnered would make any marketing exec salivate. (And here I was hoping it was a Dr. Who ARG.)
There’s a very compelling defense of recreational marijuana use online at the Houston Chronicle, written by a Phd. which includes this fascinating tidbit:
after his televised debate with Noam Chomsky in 1971, Michel Foucault was partially paid in hashish. For weeks afterward, his friends in Paris referred to it as the “Chomsky hash.”
The whole article presents a very interesting opinion, one I find myself sharing after having watched the last three seasons of Weeds.
It’s not all good out there, as Seymour Hersh has blown open what should be a disturbing scandal – the US is funding covert actions in Iran to provoke them into a war although nearly everyone in the news cycle is instead focused on the Breckenridge Society connected to the death of 12 year old Brooke Bennett.
The upcoming G8 summit in Tokyo will kick off with world leaders tying wishes to a bamboo tree, a ‘pregnant man’ gives birth to a healthy baby girl, and residents of a suburb in Orlando, Florida discover it was constructed on top of live bombs.
Next up, let’s just say I deleted my youtube account today, and speaking of online video (and high weirdness) Technoccult TV has launched! The first installment is here, an interview with Antero Alli, and if that’s not weird enough for you, there’s a mini-me sex tape floating around online now.
Can’t wait to see what next week will be like!

Pregnant man? Okay, even with the transgender that’s just weird. Interesting. Fascinating, even…but excruciatingly weird.
ps – It warms the cockles (and subcockles) of my heart to read comments of folks brainstorming on how to hijack the Faceless People hype to their own ends.
