May be the first time in 20 years I’ve heard 2112 all the way through. No, you may not ask how old I am. Definitely the first time I’ve heard it all the way through without being baked.
Oh, wait. One more memory. I’m 19, in a basement in northside Chicago, and there’s a keg and 50 other “rockers” and we’re all taking turns trying to play along with this song. And we all FAIL. And we’re all BAKED. And I keep screaming: “Bloody goddamn hippy fucking music!” over and over as I FAIL to keep up on the drums.
And I’m baked.
