Changing things up this Tuesday Afternoon. You’ll note the image has changed from our workspace to a shot from outside.
Image uncovered by friend of Alterati, Danny Chaoflux, on
the irreality transition wall.
“Fellow nations, please don’t look down on Americans or America as a whole; you can’t expect us not to break down, to break down and cry, if not scream and rend things, breaking the intact and annihilating the already broken;
nor can we be expected not to put things in our mouths or other cavities that were never intended for such ingress, or not to run naked and screaming through the dark and sticky passageways of a night that will never end.”

published in The Bizarro Starter Kit.
First things first, this Tuesday. Check out The Gspot #33, a syndication of an episode of Small World Podcast in which Bazooka Joe interviews Stephen Kent and fill out our survey, let us know what we can improve upon.
Secondly, I spazzed again-last week I was late and this week I spammed my entire gmail address list. I’d meant to send a friend request for LinkedIn to
everyone in my gmail account who was already a member of LinkedIn, not every single address in my gmail account.
I’m sure there are baffled support@whatevercorp.com folk who are wondering wtf at this moment. But anyway, I’m
sure I’m not the only one out there who’s inadvertently spammed their entire address book the first time they join a social network.
Those who use LinkedIn, connect with me here. For everyone else who got invite spam from me, oops. Now you know what happened.
Now on to the week in review…
And there’s also my review of the ultraportable ASUS Eee Pc.
There’s an interesting article on the Christian Science Monitor’s website on something Prof. Richard Boulanger, Berklee College of Music in Boston, calls the “controller revolution” – the article’s title is:
Gamers tinker with power chords: Bands and DJs hack into video-game gear to create instruments.
Last week I touched on some social media discussions and issues, and I’ll continue this week by pointing out Chris23’s observations on Twitter:
My Mind is Melting With the Meta
Are we about to see Google Nation? I’ve seen this Wired article pop up in a few places, but I really like the way that Technoccult framed it:
Pay Pal Founder Makes Down Payment on Libertarian Ocean Colonies
In politics the question seems to be why is Clinton still bothering to run when Obama is clearly gaining massive regional support and Mike Gravel is so close to collapsing into a postmodern singularity of pure satire.
Those of you who are NIN fans already have Ghosts… but you may not have heard of Haunted. Alterati friend Chris Titan is seeking performers for an upcoming podcast
influenced and inspired by Ghosts.
A few other great headlines from the last week or so:
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Cosplay on Location, with Real Weapons
Woman sat dead in front of TV for 42 years.
Fast Food Joints [Will] Add Hormone to Food That Makes You Want to Eat More.
Drought-stricken Barcelona ships in water.
Hello Kitty to be appointed Japan’s tourism ambassador.
‘Sexy espresso’ stands leave competitors steaming.
Girl’s fear of school costs district thousands.
As always, there’s more news out there than I can possibly track. If there’s something in the news you absolutely feel needs mentioned here, add it in the comments section below.

PS: Alterati friend Stephanie Joyce made it into the Top Ten for AfterDark’s Scream Queen contest. She’d love it if those of you who have the time could vote for her screen test audition.
