They Will Be Everywhere

The Monkey Wrench

Jason Lubyk

RFIDs implanted in arms, every movement of the enslaved masses tracked like human cattle, while the Antichrist and the false prophet preside over their Satanic New World Order system. Unable to buy or sell anything without the RFID of the Beast, some brave and noble souls who have resisted taking the RFID escape to rural areas outside of the grasp of the Satanic New World order system, waiting for The Second Coming to arrive as asteroids pummel the earth and seas turn to blood.

OK. I’m exaggerating a bit here about the future outcome of RFID technologies – although this RFID-meets-The Book of Revelations scenario is peddled by somewhat accepted and mainstream anti-RFID advocates such as Katherine Albrecht and Liz McIntyre – but the idea that one day every product and even every body could have chips embedded in them has to set off alarm bells on some level for those who are rightfully suspicious of corporate and governmental power. Although RFID advocates state that such fears are overblown and the technology is just a non-invasive way to lower inventory management costs and ease the flow of economic transactions, the potential for abuse by psychopathic apes is far too great not to be an affront to dignity and autonomy. And now that there are reports that the chips have been linked to cancer in lab rats and mice you don’t have to be a card carrying Bircher or health paranoid to think something is amiss with these tiny little transmitters.

So tonight we present some information on how to beat back and subvert the growing incursion of the tumor growing spychips into our already too-surveiled lives.

The RFID Zapper

Picking up yet another bottle of scotch in the future and don’t want the RFID attached to it be transmitting your home location to marketers soon filling your mail and inbox with deals on the latest third world liver transplant prices? Thanks to “MiniMe” and “Mahajivana” – two inventive students from Germany – you can keep your consumer data trail private with a home brew tech invention they call the RIFD Zapper. The prototype was made with the casing and electronics of a single use camera modified to “emit an electromagnetic pulse that will overload the tag’s circuitry and destroy its ability to function.” Plans are afoot to put a manual online so you can construct your very own zapper and feel safe and unspied upon as you sip on a tumbler of Johnny Walker and look at the people going about their workaday lives, the Chevy Cobalt with the weird camera on the roof driving by.

Shields

In this day and age not too many have a fun stress-blowing night out without some proper protection (unless you are one of the probably mythical
bug-chasers, and if you are, most likely will have bigger problems to deal with instead of this shit) so why would you go out with your RIFD embedded credit cards, passports, and ID’s unprotected to the wireless advances of pox-ridden government agencies, businesses and criminals? While you probably wont be able to pick up cute and trendy
Hello Kitty RIFD shields from the local community clinic, with some quick Googling you can find
standard card-sized and
printable shields, even
Faraday Cage pockets (because only the most die-hard lover of Big Government would want them snooping in your pants – unless you’re
Larry Craig, I guess).

Hammer Time

OK. You don’t want zap it, sheath it, you just want the fucking thing out of your life. While you’re doing the best you can to not shop at Wal-Mart or whatever million RIFD-eyed commercial beast, all your ID and credit cards are riddled with the shit, and you can’t even give some asshole the finger without four pieces of ID nowadays thanks to the latest video of the Mad Arab looking like he just came back from Hair Club For Men raising the threat level to beyond stupid. According to this
Wired article all you have to do is whack it with a hammer (the example in the piece is a passport, but I’m sure it would apply to other cards as well). While the disabling of the RIFD is not supposed to invalidate the passport, don’t quote me on that if you get picked up at the border and shipped off to some hellhole form some “aggressive interrogation.” This is just “satire,” OK? Ha. Ha. Ha. “Satire.” Yeah … satire …

The Monkey Wrench is a column about the dark side of technology and how to subvert it.

What I want to know is how do we disable these tags such as the ones I think are in our MI license plates.

I used to be a big supporter of Ron Paul, and I still think he would be better than all other candidates, except for Dennis Kucinich, who has the best health care plan, and has true Democratic ideas, towards which I’ve always leaned: we need a smaller gov’t..yes, I would agree. But what really needs to be done if reform the gov’t. There’s a lot of great things the gov’t can do, and gov’t regulation IS needed because the corporations are more cut-throat and are the ones really controlling the politicians to begin with…Recently asked some tougher questions, Ron Paul said it would be okay for private individuals,( or corporations?)to purchase state and national parks, and keep them for themselves, or charge money the view the previously gov’t protected, free, National Treasure. He wants to get rid of all these regulations and departments of gov’t, but gov’t is not all bad. Social Security has sure worked for and taken care of my parents and grandparents. The system needs to be reformed, and yes I hope we go back to Constituional money–and that’s one thing that R.P. really understands–and yes, I hope we end this war on drugs…but instead of that money used for prisons, let’s funnel it into social programs, and health care facilities for those who need help–and there will be a LOT of them, because onc you end prohibition, most of the drug dealers will disappear..When you can go to a clinic, and get a shot of morphine to keep from withdrawing, most people will choose that, rather than go out on the streets and buy some over-priced, impure chemical…especially, if they truly want to get out of the cycle they are in–and most addicts truly do. It’s a desease, like alcoholism, and should be treated in a similar manner, and the Justice Department should stick to prosecuting real crime, like some of those in our White House right now. But significantly reducing government, including ending all these social programs…Well, you just have to remember that 1. R.P. is running on the Republican ticket and does resonate with many of their views..he just happens to have some integraity. While I diagree with abortions, I believe that, until an embryo has at least the beginnings of a human shape and nervous syetem..like the nest day pill..these choices should be left to women, and I do not believe that that sperm/egg union is anything approaching a human being yet. Ron Paul wants life to begin at conception! Children are a gift, but we have to look at the “incoveinent” fact that the world is already vastly overpopulated, and we’re running out of resources. You’ll also notice that Ron Paul doesn’t object to the Iraqi War so much for moral reasons..he doesn’t say that it is an ill-conceived or immoral war; instead, he’s more upset that it wasn’t properly declared through Congress. As if had been, and we had won, everything would be okay. I don’t believe that at all. We’re over there for military positioning and oil and money, and George Bush. That’s it, end of story. Sooo, Ron Paul would be a better President than most, I’d say, except Dennis Kucinich–and they share many ideas. Kucinich has been the only one to bring Articles of Impeachment to Bush/Cheney….anyway, Ron Paul might work out great for the upper middle class (remember, he’s a Doctor.how can he understand poverty?), but the rest of us in the low to lower middle class..well, it may not work out so great for us. But I’d still risk it over Guiliana!!!! Any day! Or most any other candidates too…the syetm is corrupt. And they’re just puppets anyway. It’s banking corporations, and the Bilderberg Group that probably make most of the ultimate decisions.
